Video Transcription:

Hello, everyone. Have you ever experienced a time when you're not feeling well, and you've been coughing for a month, wondering, when will you feel better? Life can be stressful, and overwhelming. When we're experiencing chronic illness, fatigue, or pain, especially when these pathogens can mutate and adopt to survive against drugs and vaccines.

In today's video, I will share five easy steps that can help boost your immune system. Let's begin.

First is gratitude. Research shows that positivity, such as being thankful for what we have, our family, our friends, and even pets, can help increase physical and emotional well-being.

Second is acupressure. Pressing acupressure points such as the four gates LI4 on both hands, which is located between the thumb and the index finger next to the bone, as well as liver 3, which is located on the big toe, between the big toe and the toe next to it, next to the bone, pressing it for one minute can help stimulate the blood flow along the pathways to nourish our cells and our organs and improving its functions. So you can start doing it on the right hand, or LI4, or large intestine for the left side, followed by the left foot, the right foot, and then you can end on the right hand for LI4. So you start on the right hand LI4 and end on the right hand for LI4. One minute, each point,

Next one is massage. You can massage your hands in a circular way. Or you can also massage your scalp while washing your hair or before bedtime. Or you can also massage your ear. I will show you how to do that. So the ear. Let's do it together. You start on the outer side, above, on the top, and rub it down, going down to the ear lobe, and then on the either side from the top, down below, and you can gently pull your ear lobe and also on the outer ear, so that it will stimulate the nerve endings and release the endorphin, which is the happy hormones. We can do it together. How does that feel? That feels good and relaxing. So massage can help improve your immune system as well as promote relaxation and blood circulation reduce muscle tension and stress. So let me share with you another slide.

Next one is eating habits. Be mindful when you eat and enjoy your food, don't eat when you are angry or sad, so that your brain will not associate that negative emotion with the food that you're eating, to prevent the possibility of developing sensitivity to that particular food you are consuming.

Next one is to sleep. So this is the time when our body is in the process of healing and recovering. So it's important to sleep at least from six to eight hours. And your body will tell you, if you didn't get enough good sleep, when you feel not rested when you wake up. So don't underestimate sleep.

So let's do a recap, five easy steps that can help boost our immune system.

G for gratitude, A for acupressure, M for massage, E for eating habits, and S for sleep.
