Hi, everyone.
Three powerful ways to transform fear into passion. So, overcoming fear is a combination of mindset shift, practical strategies, and consistent action.
So I'm going to share some slides so the first step for overcoming fear and turning it into passion is reflection. So recognize fear as a natural human emotion. Identify our fear to overcome it. Is it the fear of uncertainty? Is it a fear of failure? Understanding the source can help us address it effectively.
The second one is acceptance. When we feel afraid, our body and spirit will send us a message. So it's important to listen instead of denying or suppressing it, acknowledge its presence, and accept it as part of our journey towards triumph. If we accept that failure is part of success, then most likely will be less afraid of it. Failure can provide valuable learning experience that will positively impact our future strategies. So after I graduated high school, I wanted to get into nursing, but I was afraid of failure, failing the board exam. Instead, I decided to go into computer science, because I don't want to face my fear.
So, on one of the other stuff, the third one is determination, looking fear as a gift, overcoming fear can be an ally to help us move forward, out of our comfort zone and reach our highest potential. So what is my turning point and how I was able to transform fear into passion? So after I got married, get pregnant during my labor, I had a traumatic experience. I developed allergic reaction to anesthesia. I had a fever, hallucination and dizziness, and I almost passed out, but I was able to have a successful delivery with the help of my gynecologist, and then after that, I developed food sensitivities and experience abdominal cramping loading and also emptiness and sadness and my colleague, baby was crying all the time, and he's agonizing cries, and seeing him suffer with itchy skin and scaly patches, it pushed me to the edge, to the point that having a societal thoughts, so the Western medicines recommendation of eliminating common allergens to him and applying cortisone did not help.
So basically, I shift my mindset, reframing fear as an opportunity for growth and learning, rather than a threat, embracing challenges as chance to push my boundaries and develop resilience, instead of allowing fear of uncertainty due to past experience dictate our decision. Learn from those painful moments, and that's what I did. So I decided to look for alternative medicine to help my son and help me recover. I discovered that NAET or Namupripad's Allergy Elimination Technique was able to help my son clear his allergies, and also help me as well, and also acupuncture and herbal medicine.
I did to develop a plan which is setting achievable goals that align with my purpose, which is at that time, to help my son, help myself recover and back to a normal health condition, and also help others who were experiencing the same health issues as we do, that were feeling helpless and hopeless, which I did, and so at the same time creating A manageable, less intimidating and more attainable steps to achieve my goal, having a roadmap can help me feel more confident and reduce fear.
So my plan of action despite fear, which is courage, is not the absence of fear, but the willingness to act despite it, taking a small consistent steps toward our goals, even if we feel afraid, each step forward builds Momentum and faith in ourselves, visualizing, overcoming fear and achieving triumph.
So I decided to switch my career from computer science to oriental medicine in order to become an NAET practitioner or Namudripad's Allergy Elimination Technique. And so I actually started going to CNM and took anatomy, biology, and I was able to overcome my fear of taking tests, especially practical tests on the cadaver, pinpointing the parts of the body, the arteries, the veins, and other things. And so after taking the basic science classes, I transferred to acupuncture College here in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and taking courses one at a time, and also the the the in training, treating patients at the school, exposing and gaining experience on how to treat different health conditions and not worrying about the board exams.
So after completing my school, I still need to take the board exam. And guess what? My first board exam, which is biomedicine, I failed by one point, and I look at it as a gift, because I have to change my strategies instead of studying the question on the exam, I studied the important subject matter and points on biomedicine, and so doing, I passed the second time around, and Also I passed the other board exams, including point location the foundation of oriental medicine and Chinese herbology. On top of that, I passed the state board exam and became doctor of oriental medicine here in New Mexico, and also passed the board exam in California for acupuncture, so I was able to overcome my fear of passing exams because of just the passion of helping my family and helping others overcome their health issues.
So don't forget to seek support, surrounding ourselves with supportive friends, family, mentors who can encourage and motivate us on our journey. Sharing our fears and triumphs with others can make the process less sounding so after I graduated and passed all the board exams necessary. On my first year of private practice, I failed, and so I decided to work for someone else, doing acupuncture and herbal medicine. And after five years, I gained confidence and more experience, so I decided to do my own private practice, and even that, I seek the support of mentors, especially business coach, to help me succeed in my business, and also do continuing education. So at this time, I'm not only doing in person treatment for NAET, acupuncture and holistic kinesiology or muscle tests, I'm also doing remote healing, doing the energy balancing, quantum healing, as well as universal rays healing and medical intuitive assessment sessions. So I diversify myself and still gathering and learning information, refining my skills in my field, as well as other fields of holistic energy, so I can help others by resolving the root cause of their health symptoms and activate their innate healing power to achieve optimum health.
Don't forget to celebrate. Be kind to ourselves. Take time to reflect on our progress and celebrate our achievements, no matter how small, acknowledge the courage it took to face our fears and take steps towards triumph. This positive reinforcement can fuel further progress, remembering that fear can paralyze our willpower, and passion can uplift the frequency of our energy, and love is the most powerful healing energy.
