Hey everyone, welcome to another episode of Unlocking Your Superpower. I'm your host, Michelle Mehta, and I have with me, Veronica Joseph, and we are so excited to talk to you about how to navigate and overcome the thoughts that we have that do not really support us in our vision, because sometimes we don't realize that some statements basically become our reality. So, are you really talking to yourself the right way? Are you talking to yourself the wrong way? That's what we're gonna uncover today. So make sure you have a pen and paper, and we're going to talk about how to navigate these wonderful thoughts that we have inside our heads. You guys ready?
Okay, Michelle, so I just want to ask you, what are the common thoughts that your clients have that are impacting their lives, and how do you help them navigate them? Sometimes, it's like I'm feeling really angry. I'm angry with my family situation; I'm frustrated at my work. I'm feeling overwhelmed. There's just so much to do where there's not enough time, and I feel like, by the time Monday comes around, I'm already dreading Mondays. How do I and they come to me asking me, like, how do I feel excited about a Monday? Because Sunday I have all like, rejuvenated, but then the Monday morning, the alarm goes off, and I'm like, Oh no, another day at work, and I've fallen out of love with something I love the most, which is spending time with my coworkers, doing the things that I went to school for, and it's not serving me anymore, and I just feel really stuck. Have you ever been in that situation Veronica?
Well, in that situation, the thing that I usually do is to be mindful of what thoughts are coming, right, yes, to observe it without judgment, and then the voice, is it like a loud voice? or a whisper voice? Is it coming from my ego mind, or is it coming from my higher self, right? Or it could be from someone else, like a mom's voice or aco-worker's voice or a manager's voice, like, sometimes we don't even know if those are our right belief systems, correct, yeah? And so those are the things that pops in me, so I try to be gentle with myself and be patient and to transform any thoughts that are not serving me, yeah.
Sometimes what I recently learned is also just breathing through it, like taking that deep, big, big belly breath, like, really, like fill your lungs with that oxygen, right, hold it, and then do that deep exhale, because that is something that supports you, no matter what your breath is, always with you, and it clears the chatter that's happening in our mind. Just by breathing, right? You want to take a deep breath with me. Veronica, let's go ahead. Take a deep breath, inhale and exhale.
So basically, with deep breathing, it helps relax your body and release the tension in our body. Absolutely another way too is I tap with acupressure point tapping, or emotional freedom technique. So the way you do that, you tap the top of the head and the third eye and also the upper lip and the heart center. So what I usually do or recommend people that are going through a hard time is to acknowledge the thoughts that are coming up, right embrace them, and what do they learn from that experience?
So give me an example so we can do it together, yeah, so let's just say like I'm not worthy enough. I'm not worthy enough for a pay raise. Okay, so let's go simplify it, so we're gonna acknowledge that, and acupressure tapping remove the blockages where this emotion or thoughts are stored, right? And it helps reprogram the brain, it helps process the thought itself, and then release it. So let's start. I'm not. Go ahead say it. I'm not. I'm not worthy enough to get a pay raise. I'm not worthy enough to get a pay raise, okay, so bring up other stuff. Where does it come from? It comes from childhood, okay? And so what other feelings or emotion associated with the thought of sadness? Okay, so sadness. Why? Why are you sad? Well, I'm sad because I can't have the things that I want to have. Okay, so with sadness, go ahead and say I feel sad because I'm not getting the things that I want. So go ahead and express the thoughts that are coming up. Yeah, it's because my parents came from, you know, their immigrant parents, so they came to this country with two bags to their name, right? And you know, they were starting their job with $4 to $4 an hour, and now obviously things have become more expensive and quality of life has improved, but as a US citizen,
having certain a level of expenses or even certain level of like investment in personal development is so outside of my outside of the family scope. So basically, it comes from my childhood that are starting up we don't have enough money. And that is, I feel that, you know, I'm not worthy enough because we don't have the money we cannot afford, so I don't deserve to get a pay raise, because it stems from childhood, right?
So this is recognizing that it is a valid thought, a valid emotion. Now let's go ahead and transform it. So it's an illusion, right? Yes, it is, and it comes from my childhood. And now it's time for me to process and release that thought, that it is not true that I don't have enough, right, that I have plenty, that I have a lot of gifts that I want to share, and a lot of support from my parents, from my Friends, and I deserve to get the pay raise because I have the skills and the knowledge and the experience that I can share, right? Yeah, go ahead and do that. Yeah, self, so I know that I'm worthy enough to deserve the pay raise because circumstances have been different, and I know that my life journey is different than what my parents have experienced. Okay, and I feel good about myself. I love I feel I feel loved about myself, I feel good about myself, and I know that I'm confident, because otherwise they would not be in this situation if it wasn't for that, right? So I love myself unconditionally regarding any circumstances. Yes, I love myself unconditionally regarding any circumstances, and I feel better about it, and I feel better about it. I am abundant. I am abundant. I Am Love. I Am Love confident. I'm confident. I am talented and gifted. I am talented and I'm gifted. I'll take a deep breath and let it go.
So how does that feel? Personally, for me, it feels good to know that I'm fully in control and that a belief system is actually not even my own belief system. It's a belief system that was passed on to me. Because I don't know if you know, but the word belief has the another word called lie in there. And so it's B, it is B, E, L, I, E, F, and so it's a lie. Like no, it's not true. Beliefs are not true. They're just made up, right? And reality, what we see as realities, has the word real in it, R, E, A, l, so our reality of how we experience it is real, but the belief system is something that we try on and we wear, right? That may not even be our own. That's true.
Yeah, a lot of times the conscious awareness of thoughts people think about this thoughts when there are aware, yes, unconscious level, but a lot of times too, most of the thoughts possibly Are programs or beliefs system that they inherited or projected to them during childhood or even at the womb. Yes, they were unborn, and that is a tough thing to uncover. So in my case when I do a session with energy balancing to uncover a lot of times we do the timeline discovery that this issue was projected to them, or the thoughts that they installed anywhere in their energy center or in the organs were actively projected to them during childhood by their parents or family member or even at the womb, like I have a patient or a client this morning that he was rejected when his mother was pregnant with him. And wow, to uncover it to the energy balancing. And with the energy balancing, we pretty much processed that thought that emotion programming or reprogramming the brain, and then process it and remove the blockages from the different center of the energy, or the chakras, or Even with the organs where it was stored during that time and then release it. So it's a very powerful session.
I love that. I love that absolutely because that's what I something I use with my clients too, is that getting to the root cause of the very first time they experienced that specific emotion to that specific event, right? It's like, when was the first time you felt anger, right? Is it passed on to the next generation? Was it in the womb, or was it zero to five? Right? Because those are the emotions that support us in our adulthood, correct? So getting to the beginning of it and then understanding and getting the positive learnings from that event, and then using that into your forward life.
So I have another example that I have someone ask me whether she is ready to be healed, because she had the treatment prior of me, but she is not holding the treatment itself. And so when I did the muscle test with her, she found out when she was 15 years old, she lied to her dad about having a relationship with another friend, and her dad found it and she felt guilty, she felt shameful, so subconsciously in her Mind, she believed that she does not deserve to be treated well, right? Yes, that is the reason why the treatment on the past, treatment that she had, did not work because of that thought, that belief system that were stored in her system. So we processed it, we released it, and hopefully this time, everything's gonna work for her. But that is a good discovery. Yeah, absolutely.
Sometimes you think you've peeled the top layer, you've killed it. However, if the trauma is so deep, another layer will pop out of that. So just because you think you've cleared, you know, anger or resentment at that particular age, know that there might be something that you might have to go back to to release it one more time, because some of the thoughts are deeply rooted. So it's like you're peeling a layer of the onion, right? So it's never one and done. Sometimes it is one and done, and sometimes it's not right. So just being patient and knowing that you have to keep working through it, because at the end of the day, it is personal development. Everything is personal that we do correct.
Anything else that I can recommend is to practice self compassion, because this is still takes time and practice and be kind and gentle, you know, to ourselves. Yes, okay, absolutely. So take care of yourself, honor yourself, and the best thing you could do is breathe and have some water. There you go.
